Job Summary :
Expertise in the Project Management, Construction and Operations requirements of the Steel Making Facilities. Specialist in the Steel Melt Plants.
Key Responsibilities
The profile must be a Manager with expertise in Steel Melt Plant operations and prior management experience. This role will serve as the interface between Ship Yard projects and Steel Making Projects, necessitating candidates with Project Management skills for effective coordination.
Candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge of project planning and execution and be recognized specialists in Steel Melt Plant engineering (preferably with Electric Arc Furnace experience) for large to mega projects. They must be capable of preparing and reviewing engineering studies, design documents, and material specifications, as well as resolving engineering issues related to Steel Melt Plant processes by applying established principles, codes, and standards. A strong understanding of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, and international codes and standards is essential.
Responsibilities include :
– Reviewing Process Engineering deliverables for Pre FEED and FEED packages.
– Reviewing project Technical Queries (TQs) and contractor inquiries, and preparing responses.
– Developing and/or reviewing the design basis, calculations, process diagrams, scope of work, design drawings, and related documents.
– Supporting and reviewing technical studies such as HAZID, HCIS, HAZOP, and other engineering deliverables.
– Reviewing Value Improvement Practices (VIP) reports.
